The Stephen King Collector, Launching New Site this Weekend

The “Stephen King Collector” is launching a brand new website redesign this Halloween weekend with many noticeable improvements.  Here’s the announcement from “The Collector”:

“Hello everyone,

I’m thrilled to announce the newly redesigned stephenkingcollector.com is going live this Halloween weekend! For years we have been THE place to go for information on rare Stephen King books; and the content has grown over the years, from covering just US limited editions to eventually covering UK limited and US 1st editions as well. The site offers not just information about the books, but also gives current values and where to get copies at the lowest prices. After all, just about anyone would be willing to sell you a limited edition book for 150% of the going rate, but that doesn’t mean you should pay that much for it 🙂

The last site revision happened back in early 2006, and visually it wasn’t that different from previous designs stretching back to 2002 or so. In short, the site was looking a bit dated. The new site design is an evolution, bringing in a cleaner look and some web 2.0 functionality while retaining the spirit of the old site.

It’s not just a cosmetic change though, the new site brings loads of new content, including RSS feeds to other SK sites, the option to follow the site on Twitter, a new feature that shows you the copyright or limitation page of a given book and much more! For a full list of new features head on over to the site.

Win “Under the Dome” & Special Grand Prize

As if all that wasn’t enough we’re celebrating our new launch with a bunch of free giveaways for the first week. Free logo’s items, multiple copies of Under the Dome, and a special grand prize! The contest is open to everyone, so head on over and win!
