A new Stephen King contest has been announced by Simon & Schuster. The contest is open to US residents in the 50 states and District of Columbia who are 18 or older. It will run from June 11th-30th. Ten winners will receive a limited edition Blockade Billy poster, a copy of Blockade Billy, and a copy of Under the Dome.
Twenty runners up will receive a limited edition Blockade Billy poster and a copy of Blockade Billy.

Our contest to win an exceptional first edition of Stephen King’s “The Stand” in a limited black tray case is now over. This was the black variant style of this case not currently available for sale anywhere. Thanks to everyone who participated. We had a tremendous interest with a record breaking 700 entries. The correct answers (longest bars) can be seen here. The value of this prize is $500.

“The Stand” & Tray Case

Play the Stephen King trivia contest for a chance to win a true NF(near fine) First Edition of “The Stand” (1978) housed in a beautiful new tray case. This is the black style of this case not currently available for sale anywhere. If you’re the winner, you can opt for the white version instead. Prize est. value: $500. There are 5 questions. This case features a white faux leather grain pattern with the title in bold black text and the author stamped in red foil. The font was selected to match the font used on the book Dust Jacket. There’s an oval opening in the front that allows a portion of the beautifully designed DJ to be seen when enclosed in the case. A three sided inner box allows for very easy removal of the book with no excess tightness. The case is shut via hidden neodymium magnets -giving a very satisfying snap when closed.

Multiple prototypes were made (and scrapped) to get the design just right. From the materials used, to the shape and size of the oval window, to the number and size of magnets used to shut the case with the correct force while keeping it easy to open when desired. I’m confident you’ll love this case!
